Growing up in Bedford-Stuyvesant known as BedStuy. Big grow with the guidance of his mother Voletta Wallace. A strict mom keep Big focused on school and making something of him self. GO:OD AM - MAC MILLER Good Morning Hip Hop, Peace Morning All Happy Friday.... RIP Mac Miller... This morning we are talking about the Good Brother Mac Miller aka Malcolm McCormick from Pittsburgh, PA. This track is from his Certified Gold Album "GO:OD AM" his 3rd studio album released September 18, 2015... This is one of those Jazzy tracks that Mac really shines on with some lyrical verses. The album debuted at #4 on the US Billboard 200 charts. "Brand Name" was recorded at ID Labs in Pittsburgh, PA ran by Eric "E" Dan who ran the popular studio to Wiz Khalifa and Mac. Mac did record most of the songs from the album at this Studio sharing the album to some other great artists. Two other top hits off the album were "100 Grandkids" and "Weekend" featuring Miguel. "Find a Way" is a song by ATCQ, the first single from their fifth album The Love Movement. The New York Times' Ben Ratliff wrote that "Find a Way" "innocently wonders about the point at which friendship spills over into sex." This is one of many favorite ATCQ (A Tribe Called Quest) tracks. Produced by Ummah a collective group of producers Q Tip, J. Dilla, and Ali Shaheed Muhammad.  The word "Ummah" is Arabic for "community", "nation", or "brotherhood". Generally, the term refers to the global Muslim population. The track was for the Love Movement Album releases August 25, 1998. The track features samples from "Technova" by Towa Tei.  The Song peaked at #18 on the U.S. Hot Rap Singles.  Peaking at #71 on the U S. Billboards Hot 100. Also #29 on U S.
