Biography:

 Bio of PKSP (Patrick "King Status" Price)

 Born in Newark, NJ to an inspirational mother and four brothers.

 His father was absent to give him the manly guidance needed. Having four brothers who were into DJing and martial arts, gave him the male figures he needed to become who PKSP is now. PKSP during a trip to visit his older brother DJ J Love, in Hawaii, PKSP was taught how to DJ at the age of 13.
That summer PKSP, at a young age, learned the side of the DJ business, all the way from making mix tapes, production, marketing and promotion. Taking what he learned in Hawaii, PKSP went home and applied the knowledge to start his own DJ service. Preparing to enter high school, PKSP knew that music would be his escape from the urban society, and became more serious about becoming not only a DJ but also a lyricist.

 PKSP, now after 26 years of hard work is now the CEO of PPR (Platinum Protocol Records), an Artist, Producer. DJ, Sound Engineer, and now Graphic Designer working with a host of talented artists over the years. After 3 Mixtapes is dropping his debut CD "So Blessed So Talented" with production from some great producers. Along with a compilation CD called "No More Talking" featuring some of the talent of PPR. PKSP is available to work with great open minded artist and is always here to help his Fellow Artists. Launching the label has confirmed that you do not need a major label to push your dreams, you can do it on your own with determination and drive.

 PKSP being put in that position to form his team of song-writers, producers, and other artists to form PPR set to launch in soon. Will prove to be one of those label and brands that will be remembered for its music, company ethics, talent of artists, and over all personality of the label. PPR is set to be a world-wide name in the music business.

Gain Staging for FL Studio Users. Hello all my producer friends out there. I wanted to share this tip with you all called Gain Staging. I remember when I first started to learn to mix it was a pain and time-consuming. Who wants to sit for hours mixing a song, but I learned this was what I wanted to do to be good at it. So curious to know what gain staging is let me tell you, a gain stage refers to any point in a production where you can control the volume level of a device or track. Gain staging is the process of managing all of these volume levels within a project to achieve the cleanest mix possible. Who doesn't want a clean final mix right? Step 1 Adjust your levels if they're not already to default. You do this in the Mixer and the Channel Rack for each Track by Right-Clicking and choosing "Reset". Do it now or regret it later! This gives you a fresh start to leveling all tracks to -12db. I use -12 cause that works for me. Others use -18db wh
