Sold for $29.99 Paid $1500.00 in Promo (They Don't Tell You That)

PKSP here just wanted to talk about this real quick. I see this all the time Beatstars posting sale post of producers who have sold beats on their platform. I have seen producers posting their bank statements and their sales from Funnels. Ok but they do not tell you what really goes into those sales.

Producers show you all these numbers because they are using it as backend marketing. Let me show you how to get these numbers ads. Not telling you that you have to pay thousands of dollars out the pocket to get your first sale. They are hyping you all up thinking that those sales are not based-off anything else but promotion (paid promotion). 

Music producers and Beatmakers realize that anything these gurus can charge you to learn can be learned for free. Real Talk, I have paid this past couple of months, and it has not gotten me a sale. It has gotten me traffic and a few followers. I gained the most views, follows, and likes by making a post about giving a beat away for free. I did that cause I wanted to it wasn't for anything else but to give the beat away for free. It was a beat that I entered in a contest that I didn't win. Everyone liked the beat so why not give it away. 

I want to salute @GummyBeats for putting it out there how much he spent on promotion and other expenses to maintain getting his beats out to people to buy. No one does that and they wouldn't then they couldn't sell yall they programs. Get you to a webinar to sell you that same package that last month was $199 and not it is $497. I just want my brothers and sister that are trying to sell beats to know. It's a process and it's a learning experience. You are going to lose money, and you will not sell anything.

Let's say you do sell your first beat with no ads, no promotion, and no influence from anyone. Use some of that money to invest back into yourself whether its promotion or ads. It has to be done for you to grow stronger as a brand. That's where you will see success reinvesting back into yourself and your company. Don't let these fly by night guys trying to sell you all pipe dreams.
